Audi Recalls 2013-2015 Sedans Over Fire Risk

If you have an A8 Audi luxury sedan, be aware of this recent recall due to a fire risk. Approximately 6,633 Audi A8 sedans, including some high-performance S8 versions, due to a fire risk. The fuel line in these vehicles could become more porous as time goes on, leading to a fuel leak. This leak would occur right by an ignition source, posing a potential fire hazard.

Cars that were built between June 2012 and July 2014 were recipients of the suspect part, as a new, stiffer part was part of the production line starting in July 2014. Car owners may notice a fuel smell if the problem has developed, and Audi is continuing to investigate the source of the leak.
