Chrysler Minivan Recall Due to Possible Suspension Component Failure

Approximately 47,771 Chrysler vehicles are being recalled due to potentially failing parts that help connect key suspension and steering components on the right front wheel. If these components do not work properly, it could cause the driver to lose the ability to steer or control the vehicle.

Affected vehicles are 2018 Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid minivans. Drivers of these vehicles have reported buzzing, rattling or squeaking noises while they are driving, but the automaker is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the problem.

Fixing the Issue

Dealers are taking responsibility by inspecting and replacing the faulty components free of charge if they are not working as they should be. If you have already gotten the repair work done on your affected vehicle, FCA will reimburse you provided that you have proof payment.

Feel free to call Chrysler’s customer service line at 800-853-1403 to see if your vehicle was affected.
