Over 30,000 Dodge Minivans Recalled

Dodge issued a recall for over 30,000 minivans due to second and third-row seats that could potentially become loose during a crash. The seats are supposed to fit securely onto a metal part of the vehicle referred to as a seat striker. The seat striker is welded to the floor of the vehicle, however, some of them were not welded properly, resulting in the potential for the seat to become loose during a crash. If a crash occurs, the seatbelts in the car may not keep passengers safe. It’s also important to note that even if a crash doesn’t occur, owners may notice that the second and third-row seats feel looser than they should.
