Ms. Piasecki joined the staff of Krohn & Moss in the California office in 2006. Her primary areas of concentration are warranty claims and consumer fraud litigation.
Ms. Piasecki was born in Chicago, Illinois. She studied at Northwestern University, then transferred to the University of Washington to complete her undergraduate degrees. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy with Distinction and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics, with minors in Chemistry and Feminist Studies. Ms. Piasecki earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Seattle University School of Law before relocating to Southern California.

Mr. Lee joined Krohn & Moss in January, 2006 focusing on lemon law and consumer protection. He received his Juris Doctor from the Santa Clara University and is licensed in the State of California and the State of Arizona. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University in Political Science and History. Mr. Lee is admitted in the Northern District of California, Eastern District of California, Western District of California, Southern District of California, District of Arizona, and the Northern District of Indiana.
Mr. Lee has focused his practice at Krohn & Moss on breach of warranty (Lemon Law) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. He has handled every aspect of litigation including arbitration, mediation, motion practice and trial. Mr. Lee worked as general counsel for a life insurance marketing agency in Arizona prior to joining Krohn & Moss. He was involved in all aspects of the life insurance industry. Mr. Lee provided legal advice to clients regarding their life insurance policy options, managed the underwriting process, and managed the medical exam procedures.

Ms. Basola concentrates her practice in lemon law and breach of warranty claims. She has been with Krohn & Moss, Ltd. since December, 2001.
Prior to Krohn & Moss, Ms. Basola was employed by a Chicago law firm, handling compliance work and residential real estate claims, from May 2000 through December 2001.
From May of 1999 through May of 2000, Ms. Basola litigated over 60 arbitrations and 10 jury trials while employed by a personal injury firm.
Ms. Basola received her Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School in January of 1999. She attended the University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark and completed their International Business program. Ms. Basola received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Bradley University in 1994. She is licensed to practice in Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as of 2004, licensed to practice in California. Ms. Basola is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association.

Mr. Bontrager joined Krohn & Moss, Ltd. in April of 2008 focusing his practice on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the California Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (RFDCPA). Mr. Bontrager received his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law in May of 2007and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June of 2004. During law school, Mr. Bontrager received Dean’s List honors, participated in the Moot Court Honors program, where he received both Second Place Oralist and Semi-Final Team honors and is currently involved in the Mentor Program at the University of La Verne College of Law.
Mr. Bontrager has represented hundreds of consumers nationwide against many of the nation’s debt collection companies handling all aspects of litigation. Mr. Bontrager finished the year of 2009 as the second "Most Active" FDCPA attorney in the United States representing well over 300 consumers in Federal Court alone* (*as reported by Webrecon, LLC). Mr. Bontrager is licensed to practice in the State of California and is federally admitted to practice in all United States District Courts of California, the United States District Court of Colorado, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Attorney Agnes Ordubegian Martin concentrates her practice in lemon law and breach of warranty claims. Mrs. Martin has been with Krohn & Moss, Ltd. since 2008.
Mrs. Martin has extensive experience helping consumers successfully win cases. Before joining Krohn & Moss, Ltd., Mrs. Martin was an associate for over five years at a Southern California consumer protection law firm where she focused on lemon law, auto fraud, wrongful credit damage, and consumer class action matters. Prior to that, she was an attorney at a defense firm representing major automobile companies. Mrs. Martin was named a Southern California “Rising Star” for 2007 and 2008, which was published in the July issues of Los Angeles Magazine and Southern California Super Lawyers magazine.
Mrs. Martin obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in 2001 and is licensed to practice law in California. Mrs. Martin is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Armenian Bar Association.

Michael Agruss received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1999. He then earned his Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in January of 2004. Prior to and during his first year of law school, Michael clerked at Krohn & Moss's Chicago office in the lemon law and breach of warranty department. While at John Marshall, Michael was an Executive Board Member and Solicitation Editor on The John Marshall Journal of Computer & Information Law.
Licensed in Illinois since May of 2004, Michael litigated personal injury cases in Chicago for just over four years. He has tried seven personal injury jury trials to verdict, and successfully arbitrated, mediated, and pretried dozens of cases. In August of 2008, Michael moved from Chicago to Los Angeles to continue his career in civil litigation. Michael joined Krohn & Moss, Ltd., as an attorney in September 2008, and concentrates his practice in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. He became licensed in California in December of 2008. At Krohn & Moss, Ltd., he advocates individuals' rights by representing consumers being harassed by debt collectors.
Outside of work, Michael published an article, performs pro bono work, and volunteers. He wrote an article that examined amendments to the Illinois Human Rights Act that became effective on January 1, 2008 (“Recent Developments: Illinois Joins Thirty-Nine Other States in Allowing Employment Discrimination Cases In State Court”). While in Chicago, he provided pro bono representation to minors in guardianship proceedings through his work at the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Additionally, as a member of the pro bono program in the Northern District of Illinois, Michael provided pro bono representation to an indigent Plaintiff in a Title VII employment discrimination case based on race discrimination and retaliation. Since October of 2004, Michael also has been a mentor in The John Marshall Law School Alumni Mentor Program. He provides career-related advice to students, and helps students transition from law school to working as an attorney.

G. Thomas Martin, III concentrates his practice in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and related California consumer protection statutes. Mr. Martin joined Krohn & Moss in February, 2009, and advocates on behalf of consumers who are aggrieved by abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices by debt collectors.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Martin litigated in a wide variety of legal areas, including business, commercial and real estate matters, as well as lawsuits involving civil rights, employment, construction defect, insurance coverage & bad faith, products liability, environmental and professional liability law. Mr. Martin has participated in numerous trials, including a month-long jury trial in which he represented the estate of a decedent in a wrongful death civil rights action. He has extensive experience in all phases of pre-trial litigation and has successfully resolved numerous cases by way of mediation, arbitration and dispositive motion.
Mr. Martin graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1997, receiving his Bachelors of Arts degree in English. Mr. Martin received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2001. At Loyola Law School, Mr. Martin was Vice-President of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society and served as a legal intern for the Corporate Legal Department of Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
Mr. Martin is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of California, the District Court of Colorado, and the District Court of Southern Illinois. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where he received certification for completion of the Dispute Resolution Services’ training program as a mediator in 2006.
